JOHN NEW-FOUNDER SHARE THE BALL John attended St. Anthony’s High School where he played basketball for the legendary coach Gus Alfieri. He was both captain and MVP of his team, earning all-Long Island Catholic first team honors. He went on to earn a division II scholarship and play at Southern Connecticut State University. John has been a head coach for St Patrick’s CYO in Bedford as well as a coach for the Boys and Girls Club. Coach New has won multiple New York State Championships coaching St Patrick's CYO.  He also serves on the board of directors at the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester. Coach New started the “Jack Reyna Basketball” clinics in honor of his dear friend Jack. He also serves on the board of directors for the Claudio Reyna Foundation, which helps youth in urban communities through education and soccer. Coach New has been a long standing board member for Bedford-Pound Ridge Baseball Association as well. He also was the JV basketball coach at Iona Prep and is currently the associate head Varsity coach at Iona Prep. Coach New has coached with New Heights and NY Rens.  John resides in Bedford with his wife Gina and their four children, Sean, Gianna, Blaise and Cullen.

JAMES MOONEY-Share the Ball Westchester After graduating from Iona Prep in 2002, where he won a CHSAA City Championship, James went on to play at the College of Mount Saint Vincent at the Division III level. There, he was a three year captain, First Team All-Skyline Conference, named to the D3 All-Metropolitan Team and NABC Third Team, and is the all time leading scorer in school history with 1,793 points. He then went on to play professionally in Ireland, England, and Switzerland where he was a National Cup winner in Ireland and Player of the Year for his team in England. Once his playing career was over, he went on to be the assistant coach of Iona Prep's varsity basketball team, where he helped lead them to two CHSAA City and State titles. James has also worked as the Head of Player Development for Teaches Hoops and coached over 20 teams during his time at House of Sports. James was the Northeast Regional Coordinator for Ultimate Hoops at Life Time Fitness. James was just named the head mens basketball coach at Mount St Vincent College. James lives in Westchester with his wife and three children, Kara, Quinn and Jameson.

CHRISTIAN NUNEZ-Share the Ball Westchester Christian attended White Plains HS where he graduated in 2009.  He was a 3 year varsity player and league champion in 2007.  He then went on to attend Farmingdale State College in 2013 graduating with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management.  He played all 4 years at Farmingdale and was part of the 2011-1012 Men's Skyline Conference championship team which lost in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. He coached at Farmingdale for the 2013-2014 season and then went on to be the freshman basketball coach at White Plains HS for 3 seasons.  He won the league championship with 5 8th graders and had a record of 15-3.  While at White Plains, he also assisted with the boys Varsity team.  Christian was also the assistant Varsity basketball coach at Iona Prep and currently he is the head of player development at Saint Louis University.​
SEAN NEW-Share the Ball Westchester Sean New, a cum laude graduate in economics of the College of Holy Cross. He has been a 4 year starter on the lacrosse team and has earned All Patriot academic honor roll for 3 seasons. Sean was a two sport standout at Fox Lane having played varsity basketball and lacrosse all 3 years of high school and committed his sophomore summer to attend the College of the Holy Cross to play D1 lacrosse.  Sean has played basketball for New Heights NYC for 6 years. Sean captained and won a D1 AAU National Championship last summer in Atlanta, alongside another SHARETHEBALL coach Ty Jerome. The team ended the summer the #1 in the country in all major publications.  As a sophomore, Sean was an important part of a 17-2 season,  as a sophomore he led the team in 3pt %.  Sean helped lead Fox Lane to a 14-5 record as junior.  He shot 45% from 3 and made a team high 47, 3 pointers.  Sean tied for team high in scoring with 16 a game as a junior.  Sean was all league as a junior. As a Senior Sean captained and won Section 1 AA for the first ever Section 1 AA Championship in school history -Championship game highlighted with an incredible 25pts  5 REBs 5 ASTS  against national powerhouse Mount Vernon  -receiving All -Section honors, 2nd team All Hudson Valley and ALL New York State honorable mention.  Sean was also the ONLY player to in Section 1 to win All Section  athletic and All Section Academic award for 2016 basketball season.  Sean broke the record for 3 pointers at Fox Lane with 123 for his career. In lacrosse, Sean started every game at Fox Lane and helped lead the program to the best season in school history with the first and only win over Yorktown. As a junior Sean was All-League, All-Conference and All-Section Hon Mention  As a senior Sean shattered the ground ball record at Fox Lane  by tallying 192  in his senior year, the prior record was 90. Sean was All-League, All-Conference and All-Section.  Sean was  MSG Varisty 2016 ALL-Hudson Valley Second team Selection. Sean was also given the prestgious Bob Scott award for excellence in section 1. Sean graduates with the most combined wins by a lacrosse/basketball player in school history and was given the Fox Lane 2016 Male Athlete of the Year award.  He was drafted in the first round pick for the PLL and is currently on the Whipsnakes.

BRYCE WILLS-Share the Ball Westchester​ Bryce, a 4 year Varsity player and 3 year captain for Iona Prep. He played for the Rens AAU program on Nike EYBL circuit. Bryce was 2nd team all CHSAA his junior season, 1st team all CHSAA and finished 2nd in MVP voting in his current senior year. He's currently nominated for Gatorade player of the year in NY, all while maintaining a 94 GPA.  He also coached alongside John New to win a CYO State championship in 2017.  He was captain at Stanford University until his graduation this year.  Bryce was the youngest basketball player in the PAC 12 his freshman year and is now playing in the NBA G league with the Grand Rapids Gold (Denver nuggets affiliate).​​​​​​​​​​

 TY JEROME-Share the Ball Westchester Ty Jerome, a Junior at University of Virginia and a 2 year starter.  He helped the University of Virginia to a #1 ranking in the country last season. In addition Ty has played varsity basketball every year of his high school career. Ty played for the riverside church AAU program growing up until 10th grade when he switched over to New Heights. At New Heights, he led his team to a 34-1 record and a national championship alongside another SHARETHEBALL coach, Sean New. The team finished #1 in the country. Two months later, as Ty started his junior year, he committed to play basketball at the University of Virginia. As a junior at Iona Prep, Ty led the team to the first ever Archdiocese championship in school history, scoring 33 points. Ty led the team in scoring at 20 PPG and assists at 5 APG. Ty was hudson valley player of the year by MSG Varsity and Journal News, first team all metropolitan by MSG varsity, and finished second in CHSAA player of the year voting. Ty continued his success going into the AAU season of his junior year. Ty’s play on the court was rewarded with invites to the Nike Basketball Academy, where he trained with Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Trey Burke, Paul George, Anthony Davis, and many more NBA player. Ty also performed well at NBA Top 100 camp and The Nike Global Challenge in Chicago.  Ty was the the number 24 pick in the 2019 NBA draft and now plays for the Phoenix Suns.

KEITH WILLIAMS-Share the Ball Westchester â€‹A Harlem native, but played basketball at the Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn.  During his career at Poly Prep, he served as a team captain his senior year, while helping to win we 3 consecutive Ivy league championships, which were highlighted by a Class C State Championship. Before he graduated, Keith joined the 1,000 point scoring club and received All Ivy, All City, and All State honors. After Poly, he earned a Division 1 scholarship and continued his basketball career at Colgate University, where he graduated with a degree in Education and African American Studies. Although plagued with injuries, he was able to earn All Rookie Team honors in the Patriot League, but Keith is most proud of being named team captain his senior year.Since college and for nearly a decade, Keith has been a coach and P.E. teacher at the Saint David's School in New York City. He coached varsity basketball at the Dalton School while helping to start the sports training company, 9D Sports. During his time in the city he has also had the pleasure of serving as the Athletic Director for the Horizons program at Saint David's, which brings children from under-served communities to campus during the summer to prevent the academic summer slide.Keith is now at the Greenwich Country Day School, where he teaches P.E. , helping build the basketball program, and coaching the varsity team.

TIM PHILP-Share the Ball Westchester Tim is currently the associate head coach at Cardinal Hayes High school in the Bronx.  The past 5 years they have won multiple NYCCHSAA  league, city and NY state AA titles.  Countless Div 1 players and millions in athletic scholarships for his players.  Prior to Cardinal Hayes,  Tim served for 10 years as the Boys Varsity coach at Archbishop Stepinac high school in White Plains. Tim had great success at Stepinac  and was the CHSAA coach of the year twice and was inducted into the Stepinac hardwood Hall of Fame. Tim is a former player at Stepinac in the class of 1995 where he was class President. Tim is a Manhattan College graduate andlives in Ardsley with his wife and two children Emma and Christopher.

PAT SCANLON-Share the Ball Westchester​ Pat Scanlon is currently in his third year as head coach of the boys HS team at Greenwich Country Day. He also teaches and serves as a Dean at the HS. Prior to this year Pat served as head coach at his alma mater Manhattanville College for fifteen years. He is also the all time leader in wins there. Scanlon was a two year captain at Manhattanville. He attended Fordham Prep for high school. He currently resides in Stamford with his wife and two children.

SEAN O'KEEFE-Share the Ball Westchester Sean grew up in Westchester and attended Fordham Prep where he was named team MVP in 2000. He went on to play Division I basketball at West Point for Coach Jim Crews. While at West Point, Sean served as the team captain his senior year and was named team MVP in 2004. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as a 2nd Liuetenant in the US Army. His first assignment was to serve as the Graduate Assistant coach for the men’s basketball team at West Point. Upon completion of this assignment he attended his Officer Basic Course at Fort Sill, OK. His next assignment was at Fort Hood, TX where he deployed out to Baqubah, Iraq for 15 months. Upon returning from Iraq, Sean was brought back to West Point’s basketball program by Coach Crews to serve as an assistant coach for 3 seasons. Sean now helps with CYO basketball program at St. John and St. Paul in Larchmont. He resides in New Rochelle with his wife Doni and four children, Brendan, Kyleigh, Declan and Maeve.

MIKE COBURN-Share the Ball Westchester​ A 2007 graduate of Mt. Vernon (N.Y.) HS. A three time state champion. Rated one of the top PG nationally. Earned first team All-State honors from the New York State Sportswriters Association. His team captured back-to-back PHSAA State Class Championships in 2006 and 2007... At MVHS Mike was a five-year member and a four-year starter of the varsity team, beginning his high school career as an eighth-grader. Traveled with HS team to China on a 10-day tour, which included stays in Beijing and Shanghai. Mike went on to play Division 1 basketball in the Big East Conference at Rutgers University. 3 year starter. Finished his career top 5 all time assists leader in Rutger University's history. Coached tri-county boys 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ( Scarsdale and Ryebrook) coached 5th and 6th grade girls CYO. Personal trainer with clients all over Westchester county and NYC.  

Rob Wilson-Director and Head Coach of Share the Ball Norwalk Rob played College basketball for 4 years at Connecticut College.  Previously coached travel teams for Ridgefield Basketball Association and AAU with the Westchester Hawks.  Advisor to Vertical Hoops, a premier tournament consulatnt and operator.  Most recently volunteered as a K-2 coach with Norwalk Junior Lacrosse.  Current Norwalk resident. 

Tom Liberatore-Share the Ball Norwalk Tom is currently the head coach for Norwalk's middle school basketball programs . He also is the assistant coach for Weston HS and head coach of Weston and Darien youth travel teams. He was the former assistant coach at Stamford HS. Lifelong Norwalk resident.

Phil D'Amato-Share the Ball Norwalk Summer Camp Director-Played 4 years at Endicott College.  Former assistant coach at Beacon HS (NY) and head coach Greenwich HS.  Lives in Ridgefield.

Jason Shea-Share the Ball Norwalk Director of Player Development-Current Athletic Director and head coach of Notre Dame - West Haven, last 9 seasons.  Former assistant coach at Notre Dame - West Haven, 10 seasons.  Played 4 years at Connecticut College.  President of Veritcal Hoops and Founder Boys Director of Connecticut Basktball Academy.
